The Australasian Trauma Society, supported by ITIM (Institute of Trauma and Injury Management), will be holding the annual Trauma 2014 conference. This event will be held from 3 – 5 October 2014 at the Sofitel Wentworth Sydney, NSW.
This is a good opportunity to get involved and take note of the latest advances in the management of Trauma.

There will be 2 world renowned Trauma Surgeons, Professor Karim Brohi (London, UK) and Professor John Kortbeek, (Calgary, Canada) as the invited speakers and they will attract many delegates to this meeting.
It is anticpated there will be over 350 delegates attending Trauma 2014. We expect attendees from all over Australia, New Zealand as well as from Singapore, Malaysia and adjacent Asian nations. The conferences’ broad scientific and multi-professional dimension will attract Surgeons, Registrars, Critical Care Specialists, Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Paramedics, Managers and Coordinators, Academia and Consultants.
The theme of Trauma 2014 is “Making a Difference” encompassing trauma care from bench to bedside, using research and education to make a difference in pre-hospital, emergency department, operating theatre, ICU and rehabilitation care.
